ONLINE: A total of 170 new students have been offered admission to pursue postgraduate studies at UUM COB for the third trimester of the 2022/2023 academic session starting in May 2023.

Of the total, 72 are made up of local students and 98 are international students who have engaged in the hybrid teaching and learning session since it began on 12 May.

The Director of Postgraduate Studies Unit, UUM COB, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Subramaniam s/o Sri Ramalu said, as an institution with AACSB international accreditation, UUM COB is dedicated to offering superior business education and will focus on high impact teaching and learning.

“You will have interesting learning experience throughout your academic journey at UUM. I would like to emphasize that the teaching and learning that you will experience is more centred on the student, which differs from the methodology utilized in the undergraduate programme of study.

“Students need to be wise to take advantage of the opportunity to participate in workshops and programmes that are organised because it can help throughout their studies at postgraduate level,” he said.

The online briefing also exposed students to important information such as academic regulations as their reference.

Meanwhile, the Programme Coordinator, Dr. Chuah Chin Wei suggested that the students visit the website, social media platforms like Facebook and Telegram of UUM COB Postgraduate Studies Unit in order to obtain the most recent information and announcements.

Also present, were the Deputy Vice-Chancellor of UUM COB, Deans and School Programme Coordinators.
